Urodynamic testing or urodynamics is a study that assesses how the bladder and urethra are performing their job of storing and releasing urine.
Overactive Bladder
Overactive bladder (OAB) is a condition where there is a frequent feeling of needing to urinate to a degree that it negatively affects a person's life. The frequent need to urinate may occur during the day, at night, or both.
Stress Urinary incontinence
We are able to treat stress urinary incontinence - involuntary urine leakage with cough, sneeze, exercise with both non surgical and surgical treatments.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse
Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is characterized by descent of pelvic organs from their normal positions. In women, the condition usually occurs when the pelvic floor collapses after gynecological cancer treatment, childbirth or heavy lifting.

Dr Young is a subspecialist urogynaecologist. Her subspecialties include prolapse surgery including laproscopic sacrocolpopexy and hysteropexy, vaginal wall repair surgery, incontinence surgery, management of indiopathic overactive bladder and urodynamics. An industry award winner, she has published research and is engaged in teaching. She is the founder of Australian Pelvic Floor Institute as a centre of excellence for women's pelvic health.
